What is Kundalini Yoga? Benefits for Enlightenment!

What is Kundalini Yoga? It is a Yoga style with great benefits to the spiritual seeker of truth and Enlightenment. Kundalini Yoga is an advanced practice that can raise your level of consciousness.

This practice is very similar to Kriya Yoga as its focus is to raise the dormant spiritual energy (kundalini) located at the base chakra at the bottom of the spine.

Like Kriya Yoga, this is an advanced practice and should not be started until one has first surrendered all beliefs and gained True Knowledge. The wisdom acquired through jnana yoga is necessary so that one is properly situated for the path of spiritual awakening.

Reading recommended spiritual texts with sincere desire for comprehension will raise your level of consciousness to the adequate level for dedicated practice.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga, like Kriya, focuses on meditation, mantras, desire for realization, love, and surrender.

God is One, and you are a part of that Oneness. Without an intuitive understanding of this truth, one should not practice kundalini.

With a solid belief in higher spiritual truth, kundalini practice will open your higher chakras and allow the spiritual energy to rise up the spine and gradualy open the crown chakra.

As the energy rises, higher levels of consciousness are attained with the culmination in the pure bliss of God consciousness.

Kundalini Yoga Lotus

Kundalini is practiced with the other aspects of Raja, Shakti, Bhakti, Hatha, and Mantra.

This yoga is only for the most devout seeker of spiritual realization, and should not be practiced without proper wisdom and guidance.

Through Wisdom comes the desire to surrender, and through surrender comes the inner discernment necessary to fully let go and realize the Self as God.

Meditation, contemplation, mantra repetition, renouncing the fruits of action, devotion, and sincere dedicated study however can, and should be practiced immediately.

It is your sincere desire for spiritual truth that will lead you to it. Seek and you shall find.

Enlightening Lotus

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.
