What is Eternal Life? Salvation and Enlightenment
The true substance of the Universe is consciousness, not matter. Everything in existence is energy, including the conscious awareness that is your true self. This conscious awareness that many people never discover is their true self; the Self that is beyond the dimension of form.
It is beyond this dimension and therefore beyond suffering. It is no secret that the greatest spiritual masters of all time taught to overcome the mind. It is your very mind that creates a false sense of self, and the justifications to defend it. People believe themselves to be the thoughts that have been created to label and separate. No words, or thought forms are capable of describing the essence of who you truly are. To become aware of ego and rise above it is to become conscious of your eternal life.
Enlightened masters have completely overcome the false self, and thus have become their true self, a conscious spiritual being. Before enlightenment and salvation has been attained, upon physical death, the soul goes for an experience on par with its level of consciousness. Karma, sin, and reincarnation are all real. This creation we are all a part of is one all-inclusive system. Thinking that we are separate from it has consequences, in this realm and beyond.
What is eternal life? To realize your eternal life, become aware of your true presence beyond your limited ego. Let go of your identity with thoughts, possessions, appearance, status, role, age, etc. and become aware of your eternal essence that is unchanging deep within.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.
