Kriya Yoga Technique for Enlightenment!

What is Kriya Yoga? The Kriya Yoga Technique is a practice of great benefit to the seeker of Truth and Enlightenment. A Yoga of the Mind, the primary focus is Meditation.

Kriya is a higher path of Yoga that is a synthesis of Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga, but greater than both. This style of yoga is for only the most serious and devout spiritual seekers.

Many seekers begin to follow this practice as a result of what they have become through the practice of the other Yogas.

Kriya Yoga

In today’s information age, all new spiritual seekers should first practice Jnana Yoga, the yoga of knowledge. The vastness and truth of available knowledge will catapult all serious spiritual seekers into higher levels of consciousness.

With a firm understanding of the Truth, spiritual seekers will be properly situated to begin the physical and mental practices of the other yogas.

Kriya yoga's main practice is on Meditation and breath. The meditation is focused on the Goal of God-Realization and Enlightenment.

This path requires a firm grasp of the knowledge of God, for it is this knowledge through Jnana, which brings about sincere Bhakti, and thus the desire to practice Kriya Yoga.

Meditation without devotion and knowledge is Raja Yoga. With Devotion and Knowledge it is Kriya Yoga. Attaining God must be the soul goal and focus of your life. Love for God must be the foremost of all your actions.

Lord Jesus Christ taught this form of spiritual practice to his disciples. Selfless service(karma), devotion and prayer(bhakti), control over sense gratification(Raja).

Lord Jesus's first commandment was to “Love the Lord your God with all of your Heart, Soul, Mind and Actions.

All spiritual advancement comes from God. The illusion that we are separate from God and from each other is what keeps souls from progress.

The burning desire for truth is what will lead you to it. There is no right or wrong path, but some are quicker than others. All humans are heading toward spiritual liberation; the only question is how long it will take.

The Kriya Yoga Technique is the path of Unconditional Love, Selfless Service, and Divine Guidance, which comes about through Surrender.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says we should surrender all actions onto Him.

Lord Jesus also taught this through The Lord’s Prayer: “Thy will be done.”

We are all part of God; we just need to surrender to the process of realizing it. The path to God-Realization and Self-Realization is the same path.

Kriya Yoga practice is very similar to Kundalini Yoga in that it will raise your dormant spiritual energies and open your higher chakras; thus raising your level of consciousness for the betterment of all mankind.

Enlightening Lotus

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.
