What is a Good Life for Enlightenment?

What is a good life? Is it living with a higher purpose? Is it finding true love, happiness, friendship, meaning, health, prosperity, success, or fame? Is it living a life of consciousness and awareness?

A good life is a selfless one. The greatest spiritual masters of all time taught of this higher quality. Material existence is temporary, it always has been.

Searching for meaning and happiness outside of oneself always ends in despair, constant wanting and craving, with only temporary fulfillment.

A good life is a life that contributes to the whole. One of the most important truths being revealed now is that the substance of the Universe is consciousness.

Everything in existence is energy, and this formless energy field manifests into the physical world of form.

We are all part of this infinite field of consciousness. Our individual awareness is an expression of the overall field. Separation is an illusion.

If you wish to live a good and positive life, the greatest thing you can do is learn the truths of existence and raise your level of consciousness.

The first goal on the path to Enlightenment is to reach a state of Unconditional Love. If everyone were to reach this state there would be Heaven on Earth.

All of the Enlightened, and spiritually saved beings that ever lived taught the same things. The Greatest Masters had religions founded after they departed but their original teachings were for all mankind, beyond all religions and worldly authority.

One does not have to be labeled Christian to believe in and follow the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ; Or Buddhist to believe in and follow the teachings of Lord Buddha; Or Hindu to believe in and follow the teachings of Lord Krishna.

The teachings of these masters are beyond all religion as they are not of this world. Their very teachings are to help mankind transcend this temporary world and enter the permanent, eternal, Kingdom of Heaven.

The best life anyone can live right now is a life of consciousness and awareness. With knowledge of the truth, all actions become aligned with your higher power, and the whole world becomes a better place.

To raise your level of consciousness in this information age, the quickest path is to surrender your beliefs and seek the truth.

Now is the time.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

(The Buddha)
